Mother's Day is coming up...

We have been busy creating a beautiful keepsake for the special mothers, grandmothers and women in our lives. Here is a sample of our creations.

Our pet Joey

We had a class vote to select a name for our new Beta fish. Joey won! A special thank you to Ian and his mom for buying our class pet Joey.

Kidblog

Today we learned how to log on to kidblog. We were very excited! Everyone posted for the first time.  We learned how to change our backgrounds and avatars. Please see the link on the right for Kidblog.

Sunflowers

Our class planted sunflower seeds (for science) on April 15th.  Most seeds germinated and here is what they look like now. Some pots needed to be replanted. We are eagerly waiting for them to sprout. The sunflowers need a brace (straw) to keep it from falling.

We had a lot of fun sharing our brochures with the class.  We tasted food from all over the world!  It was awesome!

Gr. 4 Girls Cooking Club

Today we made tasty vegetable (mushrooms, red and yellow peppers, spinach, tomatoes and alot of cheese) pizza and delcious brownies. The brownies were ooey-gooey good! We made enough to share with the rest of the class.  We worked on problem solving in math. In Social Studies, we almost finished our brochures. In art we painted our 3-D buildings.
